Without compromise, Miguel pushes the envelope as a genre blending composer, arranger, producer, performer and educator. In 2010 he composed his first symphonic piece for strings and jazz quintet, a format which he developed throughout his undergraduate studies at William Paterson University. In 2015, he premiered “All Is Not Lost: The Life of Pi Suite” at the Dimenna Center for Classical Music in New York City. As a composer and engineer, he performs audio post-production services independently and with Soundfood Audio — an NYC based firm. A master’s candidate at Towson University, Miguel is studying ways to bridge technology and music education.
