
A musician based out of Baltimore/Annapolis area, Quinton has an eclectic taste in music and an affinity for Jazz, Rock, Fusion, Pop, and Country. While attending Towson university, he studied Education and Jazz Guitar performance and has played in numerous orchestras, jazz combos, wedding duos, and groups of very talented musicians. Among these accolades, he has been a reoccurring guest performer for the AACC Symphonic Orchestra, has been the leader of a Jazz quartet since 2019, and bandleader for his alternative rock group, Captain Ahab with fellow musicians and educators Scott Nowaskey and Riley Young since 2021.
Apart from performing, Quinton is also a very seasoned music teacher and has been teaching since 2016, privately and through other teaching organizations.
He has prepared students for concerts, auditions for college, and has even led student bands as a director.
Quinton’s grasp on theory and pedagogy gives him the tools to provide students multiple avenues to progress at their instrument, and learn music their own way. It’s his goal to give his students the tools needed to be a successful musician so they can pursue their future career.
