Steven is a pianist of twenty-five years and a private piano instructor of ten years with students whose ages have ranged from six to sixty. Over the years, Steven has also extended his learning beyond the piano and has dabbled with various instruments, such as the saxophone, bass clarinet, flute, bass guitar, cello, and ukulele.
For the last twelve years, Steven worked as a pre-kindergarten teacher, Elementary Youth Coordinator, and Administrative Staff for Tendercare Learning Center in North East, MD. It was there that he developed his love for teaching. Steven has also worked as a substitute teacher for music classrooms in Cecil County Public Schools and will be completing his bachelor’s degree in Music Education at Towson University this spring.
Steven is also a Music Director and pianist/keyboardist for community theatre productions in Delaware and Maryland; his recent favorites include West Side Story, Footloose, Songs for a New World, and The Last Five Years. In addition to music, Steven enjoys podcasting, baking bread, and photography.
